How this test works
You rate 48 short statements on a 7-point scale, from Strongly agree to Strongly disagree. There are 12 statements for each of the four dimensions, and half of them point each way, so agreeing with everything does not push you to one side.
For each dimension your answers add up to a score, shown as a percentage for the side you lean toward. 50% means you are balanced; 90% means a clear preference. Your four letters together make your type.
Everything runs in your browser. Your answers are never sent to a server. Only your last result is saved on this device, so you can look at it again later.
The four dimensions
Extraversion · Introversion

Thinking · Feeling
Thinking types decide with logic and consistent rules. Feeling types weigh personal values and the effect on the people involved.
Judging · Perceiving
Judging types like plans, order and finishing things. Perceiving types prefer to stay flexible, adapt as they go and keep options open.
Frequently asked questions
Is this MBTI test free?
Yes. It is completely free, with no sign-up and no email address. You see your full result right away.
Is this the official MBTI?
No. The official Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) is a paid assessment from The Myers-Briggs Company. This is an independent test built on the same four dimensions, made for self-reflection.
How long does it take?
About 5 to 7 minutes for the 48 questions. Go with your first reaction; there are no right or wrong answers.
How accurate is my result?
It shows how you answered today. If a dimension is close to 50%, both sides fit you and that letter may change when you retake the test. Use your type as a starting point for self-reflection, not as a label.
Can my personality type change?
Core preferences are fairly stable, but mood, work and life stage can change how you answer. Getting a different letter on a dimension where you scored near the middle is normal.
What are the four type groups?
Analysts (NT) are strategic and logical. Diplomats (NF) are idealistic and caring. Sentinels (SJ) are practical and reliable. Explorers (SP) are spontaneous and hands-on.
