Any pair of 41 world currencies, such as USD to CNY, EUR to USD or SGD to MYR. Rates are daily mid-market reference rates.
How to add a currency pair
- Under Forex Exchange Rates, open the first currency box and choose the currency you convert from. You can search by code (SGD) or by name (Singapore).
- Open the second box and choose the currency you convert to.
- Click + Add. A new card shows how much one unit of the first currency is worth in the second.
- To remove a pair, click the × on its card. Your pairs stay saved in this browser.

Frequently asked questions
How often do the rates update?
The page asks for new prices every 60 seconds while it is open. Bitcoin and Ethereum change on almost every refresh. The currency rates come from a free reference feed that publishes new rates about once a day, and the Brent oil price is a daily closing price that our server checks every 3 hours.
Where do the prices come from?
Currency rates come from ExchangeRate-API (open.er-api.com). Bitcoin and Ethereum are Binance prices against USDT, a dollar stablecoin. Gold and silver are spot prices per troy ounce from Gold API (gold-api.com). Brent crude oil is the daily price from Alpha Vantage.
Why is my bank's rate different?
The rates here are mid-market reference rates, halfway between the buy and sell price. Banks, card companies and money changers add a margin and fees, so the rate you actually get is usually a little worse.
Can I use these rates for trading or payments?
No. They are for information only and can be delayed. Before you trade or send money, check the price with your bank, broker or exchange.
Are my currency pairs saved?
Yes. Your pairs are saved in this browser, so they are still there the next time you open the page. They are not sent to any server, and no account is needed.
How do I convert between two currencies that are not the US dollar?
Add the pair, for example SGD to CNY. All rates are published against the US dollar, and the page divides the two dollar rates to get the cross rate, so any of the 41 currencies can be paired with any other.
